Default "No or bad signal" .....Manchester

brought an EX1000SL yesterday, had it working for a few hours then it just went off, tried with a fast install, then a deep scan.
channel list goes upto 37 -TVCh 9.
Any help/information advice appreciated

what problems are you experiencing? no channels/jumpy picture/crackling etc

factory reset, then a deep scan? don't use any splitter whilst running the scan, try directly from the live feed to the box

I presume you can get to the menu normally and the screen isn`t blue??

Blue screen means you have no signal what so ever, so check your connections,if you can get to the menu then check your symbol rate, 6.952 round here,even then still check your connections,i did a new box in my front room the other week and it was pants,double checked connections all round and found a dodgy one,did the biz and rescanned found only 34 tps (which was strange as the one in my back room found all 39 ) added the necessary and jobs a good un.

still not getting anything.


......brought the box from bowlers trafford park
anyone know if they are reliable ? or will help out when if i have to take it back ?

Know a few mates who have bought stuff from bowlers and theres seem ok, however it is possible you have bought one from an unscrupulous seller. You can only try to see if they can help, a reputable seller would do their best to help you out I would think.
