I am thinking of getting the starview 4 for when the football starts but ive heard that irl is going to 3 soon and that the 2 fix on the starview 4 will no longer work, is their any truth to this ?? thanks.

Truth is nobody knows mate (well peeps at UPC will) the thing is a box pays for itself in 2-3 months so it's still worth the risk
P.S if I was going with any box it would be the Kryptview A750 which is far better supported.

If your getting it just for the football, why not wait till the football starts cause if they are nearing changing to n3 i'd say it would be the start of the season.
Or you could just take a chance ![]() Paul |

thanks lads i was thinking of switching to a sly but i might take the chance, i was thinking if the starview 4 because of the easy usb upgrade option, but if the A750 is better supported then i might get one of those instead, mmmm lol i have to think about this one

They're still both v. easy to update. The Kryptview is a basic flash(from the PC) and so is the Starview. It only becomes harder when you mess with cable company receivers or linux receivers

Sell it ASAP. Still working in other places. I suppose if you live close to a chorus place, then you could list it on gumtree

as far as I know chorus wont be far behind new cards are been going out to chorus customers for the past couple of months
