Samsung SMT-2110c: General Chipping Info

Hi, I'm new here so sorry if the information is elsewhere...
Its just a little hard to find without knowing what I'm looking for.

Basically, I am paying for XL TV package on Virgin Media and want to take it down to M, chip the box and still get all the channels.

I am quite technically minded as I have hacked and chipped multiple devices in the past...

Heres the info I think you guys need:

• Samsung SMT-2110c
• NTL: Digital Smart Card (From a subscription over 18 months ago)

We are at the moment new customers with all new equipment, which I do not intend to hack, I have old equipment which has been left at my house.

You need to get the boxkey off the card, its the only way with that model, you will need an unlooper to unlock the card and a programmer to read and write it, Check the box first with cable feed OUT in the eng menu, hold up and down buttons in and power up till ld14 on display, let go of buttons and you should have diag screen, go to page 6 i think and check if card is saying ok, if it is good chance the card hasnt had a deactivation hit and a false bk, have a read of the pace cable guide or cable for dummies in downloads.

I have checked the engineer menu and it says "OK" for the card status.
Will have a look at these guides.
I am having trouble finding the download section though sorry.
If you could point me in the right direction thanks.

Sorry I forgot to say this but the Smartcard Version & Revision is: DNASP011 RevB0D
Does this mean that it is locked as I saw this in the guide.
Is it possible to then unlock it or something?

Hi

Most likely locked, will need an unlooper to unlock it.

You will also need a proggy.

For downloads look in private fta section.

You can't remove a post (only the mods can do it) so he just replaced whatever he typed the first time with "......".

IM very much intrested in unlocking these vbox
i have samsung smt-2110c vbox with basic package but i want to unlock it to watch other channels as well.........

from engineer's menu i have got this information
frequency 666.750
pin ****
card status ok
smart card version is dna sp011 RevBOD
this is the information got from the engineer screen, i have some knowledge on routers changing firmware etc.... so im intrested in doing this
please any one can help me....................
