Default help dell c400

hi all anyone no how to put a new o/s on a c400 notebook,,there no cd ,drive, no floppy disks,,,peeps who know this notebook will no how hard it is to put new o/s on this laptop..hope someone can help..thanks....

If you hit F10,or maybe F11. At the Dell splash screen you my find a OS restore partition.


edit.if not try ctrl +F11

weren't these laptops provided with external CD-ROMs?

thanks for the reply guys,,went i hit the f8 it go back to reboot ,,that why i want to put new o/s on it,,there is no cd rom it second hand,,,,

lol.. you replied without answering the question mate.. why not just buy a cheap external CD-Rom.. you'll then have one for future reference

sorry mate ,yeah i migth have to do that..but i been looking at the net and some peeps r having problems connetin rom to lappy.[something to do with the c400 drivers ]+plus im not to hot at computers,,,,

Yeah i have also been looking on the net for you, however, unfortunately i don't seem to find an answer. I don't know if Dell charge to call there technical, but that may be the best way, unless you go on Dell forums. I'm sure someone else would of had the same problem pal

can someone give me some advice,,can i put c400 hd in a dell d400 lappy, load o/s,then put back the hd back in to the c400,....
