Default any help would be great

been trying to do this for hours but no luck

1st off when i start dhcp sniffer it stays on for about 1min then just goes off and stops working so whats going on i start it up then i start searching then its just goes off the screen and i have to start it up again and then goes back off every time

2nd when i scan for macs in my area how do i know what areas they are going to work in if i am in ubr8 dundee and like say i am in ubr8 but my friend is in ubr12 and another is in ubr1 and so on and if i scan for macs in my area what area would i have to trade to get them working in my area

3rd how do i know how fast they are with just looking at the macs



cheers thats all i need to know as been trying to find out for a few hours on web and no luck wat so ever so if any one can help thanks alot even a link to some thing that would tell me every thing i need to know as just cant find anything

1st: Do you get lots of MAC Addresses but no configs? If so, your area has gone dynamic and you will need to find an alternative way to get MAC Addresses (i.e. friends or family that live close by).

2nd: Yes, you need a MAC Address from a different UBR otherwise the network will see two in the same UBR and keep kicking you and the person who the address belongs to off all the time and yes, you can use MAC Addresses from any UBR other than UBR8.

3rd: You cannot tell until you do a speed test using an address from a different UBR.

Number one sounds like an error to me, does it say anything in the event viewer?

Number three, you should be able to test the mac in your own area, i did this with all my macs before trading, as long as you only use them to test the speed, it will be ok
