Default stick getting issules

ok so back on to wirelless with the modem in my other room

my one in my bedroom, just wont lock on at all, with 20 diff macs

BUT

today on a sniff i got

so new config files??? any way brutefoced some, got lock on, but vista says all ok, as connected , hax says operational

if my mac was banned would i not get blocked? or is it as using router?

it's the MAC of your ethernet card which is the prob, which needs to be changed in windows. It's to do with the eth_reject_cam feature in the modem FW, it prevents it passing packets to ur ethernet NIC.

To change it in XP:
Open the properties of your NIC in network connections.
Click configure > advanced > network address

Click the 'configure' radio button and enter a new value.

To find the current value type "ipconfig /all" in the command prompt.
Change the last 2 digits then reboot modem

well ok in bedroom at mo

got wireless router going to ps3, computer and here laptop
i changed the mac of router and got online for 2 mins and it kicked me off? so i went into hex, made sure the ethernet mac was same as the new one i made for router

ok again for 2 mins then modem still says locked on, but routers says no net??? and also my laptop says no net

used smac ( rubbush thing ) cant remember the other one i had before green icon? anyways now mac on laptop is on diff mac and router ans still no net? yet mac is ok??

it's a weird one, btw ethernet MAC in hax must not match the router's MAC.

ethernet mac should be hfc mac + 6

In haxor web shell try:
cd /
cd n/h
eth_reject_cam 0
write

and reboot it

well cheers guys for some reason still cant get on, have changed mac, but now will try the +6 and then report back

get the mac calc mate from the downloads section seans forum website has it on download there it makes life easy and you dont have to get your brain to work on hex's lol hope you sort it mate.
