I did read that but slightly confused by the program, I did what it said on that guide and hit discover and it generates loads of macs im assuming that its just trying to find valid ones as all the ones i get are consecutive, should I just leave it going on bruteforce till i get ones with a config file?

Yea if you get macs with no config file then there no good best thing to do now is just leave it scanning with out hitting discover

Thanks guys, one other question I have is how many times can you clone the same mac address onto modems? for example if there were say 4 different modems in different ubrs running the same mac?

so am i right in thinking that as long as they have the same last part .glfd.cable.ntl.com im all good and when u say ubr 1 ubr2 and ubr 3 is that the 1st part of ubr cpc2-farn as this is quite a small town could i for example use from a nearby town like aldershot cpc2-ald |
