Default Manchester: No signal

Hi there, new member here.

Recently bought a Eurovox Max V, I had the thing running for two days and not its not found any channels. I power scanned on both 6.952 and 6.887 sym rate to no avail. I read a recent post about a similar problem and they suggested 'deep scan', I read the instructions and it informed me it could take up to 2 hours. I ran a deep scan on 6.952 and the result was just the same as a power scan, about 15 mins and no channels? Im running a deep scan again on 6.887 sym rate. Can anyone offer any pointers? Anyone suffering similar problems.

Regards,

Matt

can you confirm you have a live feed into your box this can also be checked by connecting direct to tv then search for channels you should get a few free to air channels if not the feed is not live

Hi, Thanks for the reply. Yes I get a live feed, I plugged our virgin box back in and we get all the channels. I just want to point out, I think the box may have .cdf data uploaded to it that is programmed for a different area than I am in, do you think this may be a problem?

Im just about to clear all data/factory reset, and then power scan again in the early morning. Do you think this may be the best method?

The 'quality' signal has been very low all day.

I really appreciate any help, thank you

matt

Working again! Factory reset and then scan on 6.952. Thanks all.
