Default Scheduling EPG downloads

Anyone know of a way to fix the EPG download time in VMC with tvpack? I know there is an option in the settings interface to set a 6 hour window for updates, but my system totally ignores this setting! and seems to do an update about every 4 hours or so...

could u not disable auto updates? then use a script to run them manually and just use task manager to run this script at the desired interval? not ideal i know but maybe a way out?
