Im using an ambit 250 flashed with haxor at the moment & every so often my internet drops off for a few seconds & then it comes back on again..
It also does this when im using my subbed modem.. My set up is as following : 3 way splitter outside in brown box.. 1 goes upstairs to my room with kryptview a750.. 1 goes in the living room where its on a 2 way splitter to subbed tv box & eurovox max v.. 1 goes upstairs to back room to modem.. Ive been told that its a signal issue as on my subbed modem ive got the following.. Upstream transmit Power Level : 59.5 dBmV ive been told that if my upstream is near to 60 thats the WORST thing i can have.. ![]() Also on my haxor modem my Receive Power is anything from 10.8 dBmV to 11.2dBmv as it flickers up & down all the time.. Do any of you know a solution to this is it worth phoning vermin up to ask me to move up higher in the cab that is if if im not high up already!!.. OR Is it worth buying from the bay a big yellow brick booster do you think that would help me.. Any help would be FANTASTIC.. Cheers..

you do seem 2 have a lot of equipment on the one line..to eliminate the other boxes sapping ur signal..switch em all off+see if the modem keeps online+check on the web config status page for a change in signal level..there is a tutorial for signal levels somewhere on this site but if i remember it only relates to the subbed tv boxes..im sure the more clued up on here will help u with wot the proper signal level should be..my upstream on my subbed 20mb modem is showin an upstream of 61.0dbBmv so urs aint really that far away IMO..incidentally if ur in a "pure" area some of the 20mb macs are now showing a new ds freq of 299000000Hz so if ur in a pure area if u try that u might keep a better lock..good luck m8, sorry i aint got a 100% cert fix 4 ya!!
