I have a small home network which comprises two laptops and one desktop pc. The desktop pc is used as my homes access to the internet, through a cable modem, then the laptops are wired through a network hub to it. One of my laptops is XP the rest are vista machines. Try as i might i cannot get the XP machine to network without an error notice saying reduced or no conectivity. Have you any ideas folks.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm thousand appologies this should have been in computers not cable modems. Such is life. Its one of those things you read something and you think i wander if someone can help with this lol

Yes, Can Be Fixed... How Have you Got the Network Set out?
Maybe Many Thing's... Driver, IP Settings, Network Set out, Password Not right & Other Stuff. Add My Email. PM Me For it.

Internet > Wireless > LAN Cable to Vista PC?
PC1 Wireless Vista
PC2 Wireless XP

To the original poster YES is possible as SuperHacks says I have 2 linux machines 1 a server 3 wintendo's machine 1 another server and all can talk to each other send files etc etc......
Even connect to any of the above with my mobile phone home or away with VNC or Putty (need putty for the linux server as it has no GUI)
