I was using DHCP sniffer at a friends house left it on for quite a while and got a few macs on there, however under bootfile it was showing stuff like this

No need to be like that if you had taken 2 minutes of your life and done a bit of research you would of been able to answer your own question in less than 5 mins amazing what the search button can do!

goto this sticky thread. It has all the newest configs:
http://www.techwatch.co.uk/forums/55...-and-tftp.html

I think the reason why people get funny about this was because this is the 5th sticky post/link from the top of the page in the main cable modem section. So it was probably presumed that you had not read the forum before asking question. Morrisoft is usually very helpfull, he's probably just fed up with answering the same newb questions over and over again. Understandable really!

hope this helps!

There's posts galore on dynamic configs!!!

imho, I wouldn't dream of starting a thread without going through a few pages and reading the thread title's (whilst reading the whole threads I think may by relevant to my problem) & searching basic words & phrases that correspond to my problem, then I would google my problem (or maybe even do that first), then and only then, would I start a thread asking for help.

That's at everyone reading btw, not just the OP.
