Default live tv crash

iv had this problem for a while and thought it was because the htpc was bogged down with rubbish but even after a fresh re-install of vista then the tv pack the problem still remains

im running vista 32 bit with tvpack for media center
cant remember the specs on the dual core processor but media center only runs at 35-40% on 1 core so shouldnt be a prob my graphics are onboard but are spec'd for 1080p so this shouldnt be a prob either

the problem:

everything runs fine SD and HD contact plays without hitch but every now and again the live tv picture will just freeze and i have to either press the stop button on the remote or go back to the mce home screen and go back into live tv to make it work

anybody have or know of this problem and most importantly does anyone know a fix or any help as its bugging me

thanks

Might help if you explain what software you was using for viewing your TV in.

I know MediaPortal dies every so often and it tends to be down to the EPG scanner - best thing i've found is to restart my HTPC every 12hrs. Not ideal, but better than having it crash during a prog.
