Default V+ HD channel

Hi,
I need a little help please.
I am obtaining a V+ box and card which is working fine on all channels with the exception of BBC HD !! which I thought would work anyway being FTA, is this normal with these boxes?

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Hi, thanks for coming back, I asked the same question to the person who has it now, he says that he's connected it through HDMI, although I have'nt seen it for myself !!
He says, if I remember it correctly, that when he selects BBC HD a message comes up indicating that a subscription is required for this channel ???
All other channels are working fine and the card is the original so I assume its paired.

Thanks again

Try modding the card with a MOSC image.

Hi lads, please bear with me I'm completely new to the modded V+ side having only had Eurovox before.
I should get this box in the next couple of days, I can then connect it through HDMI to my Panny and see whats what?
It just seemed strange to me that all channels are there, but not BBC HD !!
It must be a software problem surely, unless he has'nt got it wired up right to his telly?
Thanks

BBC HD isnt a subscription channel, you should be able to get the new hd channels as well, 4 hd, nat geo hd, FX hd, mtvn hd, espn hd.

Hi mate, I'm not sure at this stage, probably won't see him until Friday.

I'll keep you posted, thanks

Hi guys,

Right, I've finally got a hold of this V+ box after a long wait !! I've connected it via hdmi and sure enough it will not let me get HD channels at all?..everything else is ok, but the HD channels are blocked asking me to contact customer services for an upgrade even though BBC HD is FTA !! really weird?
Any ideas?

Thanks
