hi,ive read many threads on this forum and one of them said that the area you lived in influenced the type of receiver you should buy.i was torn between a eurovox and a kryptview.i live in west yorkshire,is one better than the other in this region or doesn"t it matter?

Dosnt matter mate they will all work as long as you have a live cable connection!

phew!thanks ronster,have just ordered a eurovox.althoughhaving seen your reply in the eurovox section maybe i should"ve gone for a kryptview!fingers crossed everything goes ok when i get it.no doubt i"ll be trawling the forum for help when it does arrive.ha ha.thanks again mate.

lol..Theres nothing wrong with eurovoxes mate, ive had them over 3 years..they can just be a pain in the arse losing channels after youve arranged them all

Eurofoxes are ok but when they lose channels you have to manualy scan them back in again, but yer won't lose them from yer favs menu.
(Talking on old Eurofoxes here, Max 2006 model) I don't know if other versions lose channels from time to time or not. Anyhow don't wory that yer sent for a Eurofox cos they are good boxes. From a personal pont of view this is the order I would place them at: 1 Kryptview (brilliant box, just set em up and that's job done, never have to **** about updating any lost channels) 2 Eurofox 3 Card box, sammy's etc. 4 D-Box 5 Starview AJ
