If think you might benefit from a factory reset mate and start the process again I may be reading your posts wrong but it would appear you have done the flashing and scanning out of sync, again best if the feed is direct to the box without splitters. This type of scan can take a while.

Order should be

1. factory reset
2. deep scan
3. once the channels are saved switch box onto a subscription channel and wait for it to update the code then all channels should be available.

Hi,

Still cannot see any channels,
Steps performed
1.Cleared all channels
2. Factory settings reset
3 loaded CDF file
3. Start powerscan

Software ver - 1.0 STA FEB 24 2009
s/w build - KURO
HW - 2.0 ts

While doing powerscan I can Level and Quality bards both going upto 80% to 90%. (Could still my line be inactive. as I mentioned earlier I can see most of the digital channels if I directly connect to the TV)

Scan goes from 100 to 870

TP 0000 is continously displayed on the screen,

Could be something wrong with my EUROVOX 1000SL,, don't could be defective tuner in EUROVOX

been a while since i touched my ex5100 but principals the same.
Do a factory reset, then a fresh install making sure your on the right frequency 6952 ex TW or whatever it is for your area)and only do a fast install.Your signal quality should be at about 80%.any higher can cause as many probs as to low a signal.then if you've picked up the channels exit out to s*y sports 1 and let it update.Putting a CDF file on and then power scanning won't work as all your doing is wiping the cdf file off.The CDF file is to be put on after everything is working. It is only a program peeps make up which puts channels in order(sports, movies etc) saving other peeps from manually sorting channels which with euro's can be a pain in the ass.

Hi Mark36,many thanks for reply.
Since my quality and level for some frequencies reaches upto 98% but usually 82 to 85 for most of the frequencies.

One more thing missed, fist time after loading CDF file the main screen says no signal or bad signal.

Do I need any special filter etc to fix this issue.

Also do you think I have live feed

Thanks

Exfi i think your signal levels are yer problem.Sound to high. Now i'm no expert on this but i think you need an attentuator or something like that to balance your signal.I,ve seen threads about it somewhere .i'll try and hunt it out.In the meantime someone who knows more may come along.

Exfi also check in yer menu for the built in signal booster and if it is enabled, try disabling it and then see if you get any results.

Hello....as Mark36 says try a attentuator I had the same trouble as you with to high signal, not had any more trouble since fitting one. Fix it directly on to the patch lead that goes to your eurovox box.Turn it anti clockwise till you get the signal lower. Around 80% signal strength will be fine.I bought mine form ebay just under £7 with postage included. Good Luck.
