i have recently got hold of an AMBIT 255 CABLE MODEM with HAXORWARE 1.1 rev32, i have only ever worked on an sb4200 before so i am asking for any help so i can get this up and running the easy way please

sorry about the spaces inbetween the link but as i don't have 10 posts or more i can't post links up so just move the address closer together without spaces and you should be fine if not just check the post for configs/tftp ip datebase page 8 the link is posted there

hi guys need some help here it doing my head in last night i was told to the normal 192.168.100.1 when i got there change the freq went to macs and change the macs all saved first one did not work went to change the mac again now nothing happen it wont even let me go back into the 192 again saing there is limited or no conection with the 255 box any help please

This should let you get back into Haxorware page

In network connections, set your network adaptor too-

IP Address: 192.168.100.10
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Gateway: 192.168.100.1
Leave any other settings alone and hit OK

OPEN INTERNET EXPLORER and press 192.168.100.1 in the address bar and it should take you to the Haxorware page to sort out the settings.

i have just tried again all i am getting is this msg Limited or no connectivity: The connection has limited or no connectivity. You might be unable to access the Internet or some network resources other modem is ok but i cant seam to get back into the ambit one

Hi,
make sure you have removed the coax and reboot the modem, I have been locked out after trying various macs in the past with cable conected just a thought.

hi there i desperate help now with this modem i have tried most of last few days and this morning, i have done everything what i have being told but on each time by chnage all the macs i cannot get it to work to stay on line so come please help me with this problem
