Post net id sa8300 by fun card

hi ,
ive got a sa8300 with the bk and ird ,,i am struggling to change the net id ,,the box was from tw and i want to change it to pure ,
i m trying to do the card method ,,ive tried by putting the line in without the card ,,but it wont update to my net id 00001
ive done the card with net id v2.1 and then put the card at the back its a fun ,,
nothing happens ,,do i have to plug the cable feed in as well ,or do it without it ,,my tb is not cut waiting for the tb blocker ,,
any suggestions ,,has any one changed the net id by this card method ,,
what card did they use and how did they managed
help pls

i dont know 2 much on v+ box but i do know its rarther the chip method or u use the atmega card check this post
Ways of setting a V+ Net ID??

you should try a atmega card. dont get your hopes up thou. more than likely a 512chip lift is needed

so G77 m8 if the box is allready from a pure erea. would u need to set the net id ? & pin . & do u have to deff remove the AT24c512 chip ! or can u get away with it ? thanks

i dont live in pure so i wouldnt know, people have said pure to pure is ok, it sorts itself, providing you know the pin.

people do still report that some wone go thou

k. mate ! im just trying learn abit about these ....in case i hit the jackpot on a carboot sale ! lol (i wish) just found this about the chip ""

Ok first of all there is a chance that this will work without blanking
the AT24c1024 chip located on the uderside of the board, its just
a case of try it and see befor you try to remove the chip ""

so i guess its all trail & error ..unless thers an updated tut around !!

hmm, yeah, not familiar with pure like i said, i do get members mailing me there boards for a blank thou. if you can solder, just get a blank chip on the order

note, it is a at24c512 and not a 1024.
