Ive split this off the other thread as it really deserves a new thread.

Depending on getting the right kit you can get all sorts of weird and wonderful stuff. HOWEVER if you are wanting movies and sports in English then you are really looking at a nice pricey sky subs.

Tell us what you want (DONT say everything - thats not possible) and we will try to advise.

Location is also important, as from the midlands downwards there is the possibility to get the odd movie channel or two in English, with a not too bigger dish.

live 10 miles north of birmingham

pre-digital sky/bsb the boxes used to get foreign language stuff with adult content (proper, not like redhots "flower pot" films) i really want movies+sport as i think freesat or freevies have a good selection of normal stuff (if theres anything worth watching)

just took BTs home hub and BTvision package to start off

ex-pats must get stuff?... or is it all in german and swedish?
