The mrs just found our old surfboard in the cupboard. Cant remember if we cancled the sub before we ended the contract or does this not matter?

Im planning on modding this one, what would i need to do this??

blackcat lead and alot of reading, you can build blackcat or buy it from the net. depends on how good u r on soldering.

You can buy solderless pin headers but I have never come across any. I was going to get one as I can't solder but I have ordered a decent soldering kit which hopefully will help me on my way to getting somewhere near to being good at soldering lol.
