Thumbs down DVB-C/CAM solution to view/change channels remotely?

Hi

REQUIRING : To watch/change DVB-C TV channels remotely using PC via Internet. (Point A has tv cable - Need to watch/change channels at Point B - Point A and Point B are two different cities inside UK)

Hardware/Software currently available
1. Quadcore PC with Windows7 (x86/x64), Vista (x86) all having MCE
2. 50Mb High-speed Broadband connection (upload is quite high)
3. U-Broadcast software to broadcast channels online
4. Hauppauge WinTV-HVR-1100
5. VirginTV VBox (connected to Hauppauge device via SCART-2-Composite cable)

With this solution, I am able to broadcast my channel on my network/internet easily, but cannot change channels remotely. I am looking for a solution by which I can change channels by sitting remotely. If it also going to support MCE, It would be much more grateful.

By initial research, I understand I need the following devices.
1. Digital Everywhere FloppyDTV C/CI Card
2. Diablo CAM Light v2.3 OR any other CAM

Kindly guide me!

Thanks anyway.
Cheers

I know it's not quite what you're looking for, but have you considered simply attaching a Slingbox to your current cable box? I've got a Slingbox Classic attached to my box (don't use it now I've got the HTPC set up) and I can watch and control it from any other PC with the free SlingPlayer software, or even from my PPC (FPS is crap on the phone though, but fine on a PC using the phone as an internet connection - weird!).

Anyway, know it's a bit lower tech than you're after, but it definitely works well in my experience.
