hi i wonder if someone can help me.
i am trying to a feed into the conservatory however i am having a problem with the signal. my setup is as follows. i have one cable feed that comes to the front of the house and this then goes into a 3 way splitter. 1st run goes in the living room 2nd run goes upstairs to the bedroom 3rd run goes to the back of the house to a cable modem it is the 3rd run i am trying to split however after i add a 2 way splitter i cant seem to get either a tv signal or a connection on my modem. if i remove the splitter then the cable modem works fine as does the tv signal. but it is a bit awkward taking the internet down just to watch a bit of tv. any ideas thanks |

You are loosing too much signal with the 2 way and 3 way splitters combined.
try removing the splitters and using a 4 way splitter instead. It will require another cable running to the to the back of the house but it MAY work. |
