Forget the proxy thing mate. I checked it up and it's not relevant anymore.

I'd give it another day trying to sort it personally then get back on the phone to them and demand either a replacement modem or an engineer visit.

Even a third line support call would do (for a start these guys are uk based and do know what they are talking about). I would also ask for a discount on my bill because the service isn't what I was paying for and also threaten to leave if it's not resolved in 48 hours. As the other poster mentioned, that's what he's paying his subs for.

thanks m8 i do have a spare router is there anyway of connecting it onto his line just to try i pressume its not just a case of putting it on thanks again
