Default ip banned

hi can vm bann my ip coz every time i put the coax cable in its say it cant find my ip and when i remove it ips fine any ideas how to fix it

No idea what your talking about there m8 your modem will have a private ip when you first switch it on of 192.168.100.1 it will also always listen on this address so you can get the web gui but when you plug the coax in it will send a DHCP request to get an internet routable address and then you will be online. Best thing to try if you are having issues is open up a cmd propmt and try the following to commands

ipconfig/release
ipconfig/renew

this should kickstart the modem into getting a lease if you are still getting issues try a new mac

they CAN ban your mac address of your network card, u have to change it

yeah it says little or no connectivity when i have the cable in

but if it says ok in hex then could be your mac or ur mac on ur card
