Hi all,

Managed to get my hands on an EX5000 and upgraded the software to the N2_Ireland_220709 version. I confirmed this on the menu screen. Once that was complete went to install and ran a fast install at 6.887.

When it completed it only found about 10 channels, of which I could only see ChelseaTV

! The rest came back "scrambled channel".

Any ideas where I'm going wrong, I tried a factory reset and ran the scan again, I also applied one of my old cdf files but all the channels were coming back scrambled!

I'm having the same trouble - anyone have know what the solution is - firmware has updated correctly but only getting two channels, all other stations are showing 'scrambled channel'

I have indeed - a few times. I actually have all the channels, epg etc, but only the FTA channels are coming in unscrambled, all other channels are scrambled.

I've just re-flashed and it's the same. I flashed with July 22 ireland fix. I even tried a deep scan. Anyone any ideas ??

hi,,

you guys not heard of nagra 3 ??

ps,, after using the n2 fix flash,, if you factory reset you would of needed to enable the emm.

press menu,,ok,,1968,, enable emm.

not that this matters so much now,,,,,,

a list of channels that have gone to n3 on pure ntl ireland

I have heard of Nagra 3 - who hasn't over here. This is nothing to do with Nagra 3 - I should still be able to get channels that are on Nagra 2.

I didn't do a factory reset. Do you think I should ?

well money shot, if your only getting 2 channels,why not?you've not got much to lose have you?fingers crossed!
