The basic programmer connects via the RS232 found on a desktop PC , I myself use a laptop and have no RS232 port , I overcome this by using a Infinity USB unlimited programmer which does Fun Cards and Mosc's with ease .

Hi

If its an old laptop and its got a serial connection then gr8 as thats where your cable will connect otherwise you may need to use the pc.

Once you have read a bit and put it into practice it shoud become a lot clearer and easier.

Hi

The infinity usb unlimited as g80878 has mentioned is a gr8 proggy but in my opinion for funs, for moscs you need a bit of experience for setting up correctly as a lot of people have probs with them and you start getting a lot of comms probs with it.

The infinity usb phoenix on the other hand is a gr8 proggy for both and if lappy dont have a serial port you can get a decent usb to serial cable or card that will work fine.

You may also need an unlooper if card is locked.

Hi

The funs in the learning lol, what you gonna do next time it goes off when you can invest and start doing it yourself.

You might not need an unlooper but you wont know till you get proggy and try and read card but I thought I should just mention looper just in case you invested in proggy then had to invest more money.

Have a look in for sale and trades section see if anybody is selling any proggys.
