Default Recording / Pausing / Rewinding?

Hi guys, i've purchased a SV4 today off a certain well known website...

I live in West Yorkshire with VirMedia, is there any problems i should have?

The box i'm getting comes flashed and with latest firmware...

How does the recording and pausing work? Simply? Also can you rewind?

Cheers in advance.

Adam

if you use the search adam you will find alot of info on this sorry i can not help as i have never used this function
i have a dvd recorder and use that
and as the price of them have come down you would as well to do this as the box does not come with this as a extra and from memory you limited to a 300gb hard drive but the choice is yours m8 good luck in your new challange

I had some credit from littlewoods, so i purchased a new tv and recordable dvd with hddrecording, just thought it would be easier this way haha!

Maybe if i rig it all up right, it should work haha! Should be fun!

Also regarding ntl, can you have a splitter on a splitter, for example the splitter from the main box will go to the living room v+ box, the broadband and my box upstairs.

Upstairs i want to be able to use my starview and also my xl box from virgin, so i can have them both plugged in and just swap easily, so when i want catch up / movies to buy i can and when i want starview i can, is this possible?

I've searched a few threads not many people talk about it or they touch it so i reckon it can't actually be that hard!

Hi

That will be fine as long as you got good signal from cab in 1st place otherwise might have a bit of signal issues but to be honest shouldnt be too much of a prob with that setup.

Regards
