Question connected but no internet

hi guys as you know the last few days we have been having probs with our modems i got a few macs which i tried,and when i go to the haxorware verview and event log everything is fine and connected.when i try to use the internet i can access no pages at all.

says under pc symbol in taskbar no internet access but as i said everything is fine on haxorware overview and eventlog.any ideas?

i am in the belfast area (north) and have tried to force but no joy.

Don't force mate but do change you nic mac if this has been banned haxorware will still say operational but you will have no net.
Grab smac and change it see how that goes mate.

Try not going through a router!

And try repairing you network using the Network and sharing center in Vista/Win7

If you are using a router then you need to change the routers mac rather than your pc's this can normally be done in the routers firmware settings page

all sorted now.had a few macs from b4 the big hit and went through them and used any 120 mac i could find.had a load of them used the first one i found,forced to 20meg and have been on for a few hrs now.i read on another forum that 120 macs were the best to use at the minute.something to do with docsis 1 and docsis1.1.
