Hi;

I just received my new Eurovox EX5100 and after running the scan all channels came up but a message appears "scrambled channel" and the channels don't work.

What do i need to do to resolve the problem? Do i need to update it with the latest firmware? Any sort of help would be highly appreciated.

first off go to an encrypted channel ie s*y sports 1 and see if the updating process begins.this should only take a few minutes and if it works you'll get a picture and your set up.If that don't work go into menu and check in system info.Post back here what it says and we can go from there.My guess is your box has outdated firmware on it but some sellers do sell with up to date firmware on so try the first option and let us know.

Hi i have the same problem,tried what you said with channel but nothing happened. went into system settings and software version is -1.0 st4. h/w version is-2.0 ts.Do i just need to update firmware? Thanks for any help

Eurovox - Folder Shared from Box.net - Free Online File Storage
you'll find what you need in there,dated 16/1/09.
install that and follow the above and that should get you up and running.
