Not sure if this is the right place to post,

But how does everyone find Virgins service? Im due an installation on the 22nd and will soon be buying a box. But looking over the internet loads of people seem to be ranting?

My bt as been costing 50 a month nearly for phone and broadband and a speedcheck usually shows up at 5mb!!

And the customer service is dire since it moved to india

well there 10mb internet service is very reliable at all time of the day very consistent speeds, however if you get the 20mb service its good during the day but when it comes to evening the speeds can be like 10mb, 8mb, even 5mb at some times. but it goes up and down alot.

just make sure they do a nice job, they rushed my mates house and the cable outside is all lose and looks really tatty outside his house, they should clip to wall. and make sure they give you the wireless router as well because they forget to give my mate one.

they should pull cable from outside house first then run it along front drive neatly, then drill 6mm hole into wall and feed the cable though and put the box outside if not there already, and then you tell them where you want cable inside your house, then ask them to do it nicely.
