hello people,
i just wanted to know that how does Mosc card go off ( don't work and you have to reprogam it).. like funcards they go off and you need to reflash it again. do mosc just go off by dates or is it something else that virign does? Thanks |

Mainly its the dates that have expired, but there are a few other reasons, but these are serious and will fry your card and make it a ice scraper.
one is the tiers are wrong, if the tiers don not look the same as on original card, an emm killer that virgin transmit recognises that the card is not standard, and will kill the atr on the card. the atr is what boots the card into life, so your card is fried. you can stop this by putting on a blocker to stop the killer emm, but most blockers are now public and they can easilly bypass them, but for now they seem to be holding. but beware if you put a blocker on your card, it will effectively lock the card, and you have to open it with d2c before opening the card again, there are other ways with rom studio and mrom, but I find d2c works for me. |

With a MOSC you can define when it goes off by altering the dates as said above whereas a Funcard may only last a few months because VM keep sending out hits to prevent the use of these cards with modified boxes
.
