Default ex 5100 advice please!!!

Hi I have recently bought a box from manchester for my sister who lives in Scotland! The problem is she wasn't connected when I dropped off the box. So I've talked her through the setup! Now when I i scan my box it is through the network id ex/cw (6.953 mbaud) This wouldn't work for her being in different area. So she got channels (6.887 mbaud). But problem is there all scrambled. I'm sure the box has the most up to date firmware as I have bought from this seller 4 other boxes for family! (all in my area) and they have always been working. I was on the understanding the firmware was for the box and not the area?
Also could someone please advise how to manually input keys for 5100 as my 5000 is menu then yellow. She has tried menu and all colours with no joy! Will plan to use keys until I can get back up to re-flash if needed!
