hello

ive just come back off of holiday to a defrosted freezer a couple of dead gold fish , but my main worry is the 4 - - - - on my lcd display on a eurovox 2008

ive had a play but it just wont accept a cdf or a re flash of the latest firware



as the footy season starts tommorow and i got no tv
if anyone can give instructions that would be great

Did you leave it switched on while you were away?, if so you might have had a power surge and it blew C14 on the power board.

Take the cover off the box (with the power OFF) and check if it's blown - if it is it will show signs of expansion on the top, a couple of bob and a soldering iron will solve it.

Another thing to try is to press the Reset button on the main board - while the power is ON (just keep your hands away from the power board).

If all else fails it might then need to be Jtagged.
