anyone got any thoughts on this,... i watched a program bout 18 months ago on the disaster, and there was victims families on at the end of it, who said that after hearing the evidence in court they just KNEW that this guy(magrahi) DIDNT do it. he couldnt have, and that evidence had been fabricated. i had reservations at first, even after relatives had said they thought he was innocent....but now he,s being considered for release because he has terminal cancer. personally that sealed it for me. i think he must be innocent, if he supposedly killed 270 innocent people, terminal cancer or not he would be in jail till he rots. something stinks here to high heaven. its took the government all its time to let ronnie biggs out, and he didnt kill anyone. christ,.. he didnt even touch a mailbag until they were at the farm. his crime paled in comparison to the bombing. seems to me they just wanted a scapegoat, and got it in ali magrahi. theres a rabbit off here.

Leave him locked up and throw the key away.
And Biggs as well - someone in the gang whacked the train driver over the head with an iron bar - he never returned to work.

I agree davey, i think he's innocent, and a fall guy, poor sod.The dirty tricks brigade operated in this one. The british law sickens me. The baby p case is another one. Them 3 bastards will get out in a couple of years. The two brothers involved are real nice guys, one raped a two year old child, both of them tortured their grandmother, both like tortureing animals. They and the slut mother gave that child a slow horrible death. Then we hear they will get new identites, and be protected for the rest of their lives. They will be housed in an area where the locals wont even know how much danger their kids will be in.
Over here in northern ireland the omagh bombers, who killed 29 people and an unborn child walk the streets free men and everyone knows who they are, but on some technacallity they cant go down for it. Sometimes the law tottally baffles me.

even though he may be innocent? the relatives of some of the victims should be more biased than anyone in favour of letting him rot, but they reckon he didnt do it. theres somethimg that just doesnt ring true to all this.

Have to agree - lots of 'evidence' just doesn't add up.
Bit like the magical WTC buildings... Come The Revolution we'll know for sure. Possibly. ![]() Although there are far too many sheep in the UK to ever allow that to happen.

I didn't see the documentary and I don't know if he is innocent or not but holding onto rage and anger at the crime that was committed will never help the healing process for the relatives of the victims. When the criminal/scapegoat has only weeks to live there is no justice being served in keeping him locked up. What does that show about the "civilised world". It's not a world I would be proud to be a part of.
Would I think differently if I was a relative of a victim? I don't know but I would hope not.
