found a temporary solution to the NO INFO EPG problem until a new firmware comes out.Assuming you have put your favorites into their folders press FAV then scroll to ALL CH list.Leave it on this for a few minutes and it will update the EPG for all channels in your favorites.

The biggest issue I've got with the EPG is the fact that it doesn't give you a description of the item you're watching. It will provide you with the title name, but no further information.

I noticed this myself having baught one just yesterday, any ideas when a fix/firmware update will be ready to resolve this anyone?

this must be area specific as ive had no trouble with the epg either!

Can you confirm whether or not you are recieving descriptions for the programs that are being broadcast?

I can see everything thats 'on' each channel, but it will not give a description, I tried your fix here, and its had no effect, even tried parking on the EPG channel, as was suggests elsewhere, but again to no avail.

Any ideas folks?

The menu is what i find to be a pain in the backside.
You have to turn over a channel in order to see whats on next, i wouldn't mind if some hack can be done so you can check all channels like a genunie virgin box
I dont do favourites as it is time consuming but i simply re-arrange the channels listing in order like normanl virgin
