Just to confirm, my EPG's working fine (Win7 with DVB-C EPG rather than analog).
Dumb question that I know you would have covered - does your HTPC still have internet access? A while back a Windows update gave me a new Network card driver and it didn't work. I only noticed when the anti-virus started complaining it couldn't update. Beyond that, sorry mate, not a clue. Might be a "Set up TV Signal" wipe-and-setup needed?

I Have a similar setup... Win7, FireDTV and an analogue card.. Mine's fine too.
Is your analogue card still plugged in and working.? Did the channels "Disappear" or Run out of EPG as is wasn't downloading.? |

yeah i tried that but couldnt find anything i ended up re setting up my tv signal to get it back now i just have the rubish process of linking channels up
whoever supplies this guide for mce really needs to update it with the new channels its a real PITA having to renumber channels and ive noticed recenntly not many of the channels actually map to the guide most of mine i have to do manually |

I'm sure Cafe.Rcaer posted something for getting the epg with a analogue card, here is what I do without the TV pack (sure it gets the info from the stream rather than download it) not sure if It's the same with the TV pack although I did try it once. Go to the guide, click on the channel info with no guide (to tune to it), right click in the TV screen settings/TV/guide/add listings to channel, your channel list appears choose that channel, the downloaded list appears click on the correct channel then save, it takes 20-30 seconds then go back to that channel in the epg and the 14 day listings for the channel are listed. Try it on one see if it works! |
