I think this is one of the things that makes the PS3 so much better than the 360. Granted, you need to pay for your ISP but all the gaming is free as it should be. Added to the fact the PS3 hardware is so much better than the 360 and you get more for your money, your laughing.

the fact that PS3 servers on popular games like COD etc.. there servers are bad and laggy.. 360 they are 99% flawless. Paying £40 a year i don't mind at all, because online gaming is more fun when your not kicked out of rooms due to server connection problems etc

£40 a game? wow...havent paid £40 for a game in a long long time with super-markets now being so dominant you rarely have to pay more than £25 for a game the price of a 360 + wireless adapter + online package + hard drive etc far outweighs the price of a ps3 people see the initial cheap price and get drawn in...the end up spending more than a ps3 would have cost them picture quality?...if you can notice that kind of difference youve got better eyes than me, lol |

there is no extra charge as such, though check vrgn's 'traffic management' policy on their website.
They offer 'unlimited downloads' they also 'limit' your download & upload speed as they see fit |

I find PSN much better than Xbox live , it may be that ive always used playstations , and yeah it hardly ever lags as long as you have a good connection.
I used to play online every couple of days for a couple of hours and only been kicked out of the roomm 2-3 times when the host left. So IMO PSN better than Xbox Live. Shark. |
