Ok Jam is gona help yer all on here How To Repair a KV PSU for yerself.
You will be surpised to see how easy they are to repair, Yer dont need to be fluent on Electronics and I will give you the basics on equipment you will need to Test one out.

Easy to do em but snag is having the components to replace faulty components.

I need some help on these issues TO HELP YOU with step 1:

OK first queery, How do I upload Jpgs/pics on here to show you all the components on a kv PSU to get yer all started at identifying the PSU components used.

OK soon has I get info on Stage 01, I will show you How to start trouble shooting a KV Psu and how to Repair one.
We will then go to Stage 2 on the components we need when I get Help on Stage 1.

Right jam try this.
when yer ready to post go advanced and at the top you'll see a few icons,ones like a paper clip. click on that and it'll open up so you can attach images.you'll need to browse yer pc and find your jpegs where ever you keep em on yer pc(pictures i guess) and then upload em.That should work ok so long as the mods have sorted it because it was playing up a while back.Infact i'll try it meself just to make sure it works

Hi Mark,

Thanks for quick reply in this issue, ok if I can't upload is it ok to pm you and then you whack the pics on here for me.

PS Stage 2 is gonna be the hardest part on this issue, BUT when we get past stage 2 then yer all gonna be able to Repair a Dead KV PSU, Trust Jam on this one.

hey JamButty, to make it easier again, I'd use a program called "ShellUploader", found here, ShellUploader - File Uploading Shell Extension.

with that, if you're running windows (XP, Vista or 7, so long as it's 32bit), after it's installed, all you need to do is right-click the image(s) you want to post here, choose shelluploader, then imageshack, then when it's uploaded, choose "Hotlink for forums(2)". copy that link and paste it here and boom, you've posted your image here. if you've uploaded a few images, you can scroll through and copy and paste each one in.

once you get used to it, it really is the easiest way of all.

OK We are soon gonna be looking at stage2, this is the interesting bit on the parts we all need for the KV Psu's BUT getting em is were we all need to pull together at getting them, mainly can only get from Hong Kong But we can poss get em off Ebay
