eurovox max faulty?

sorry to all if you have already read or posted replies to similar posts but here goes..

we went away for a holiday and turned power off to box,via plug
when we came back,switched on and remote dont work...

re flashed,changed complete front panel into ribbon connector,tried alternative remote and still no remote operation...

any thoughts anybody,all replies greatly appreciated

try reseting the box from the eurovox and do a chanel scan again. or try doing the jtag.. cheers!

ok, i don't think that you will be able to reset the box as your remote don't work. but you could try jtaging it do a search here there are tutorials which can help, if you are still not confident than go on ebay and type eurovox jtag there should be someone who can do this, email them as describe your problem if they say that they can fix it than send the box to them.. i say that you should learn it yourself as it will be cheaper option.

i am not sure that this will definetly work but whats wrong in trying.
