Hi guys i have a chipped pace vbox mod number D14010-N with NTL card.
Card has recently went down and need to know how to get into engineers menu to get info and see if it is worthwile buying programmer to redo myself so need to see if card is paired etc. any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi

Not sure about the 4010 but try pressing up/down button and keep pressed while powering up.

If box was working fine with this card then it should be the paired card shoudnt it.

thanks got into menu and noticed can see all details but is locked status -LOCKED anything to worry about ie will i need an unlooper or will a programmer do the job?

think the word 'locked' refers to your box locking onto the freq?

Im def thinkin of gettin programmer I know my way round pc can build one etc but how easy is it to use the programmer to redo card are files easy to get and which programmer would you recomend.I am new to this Thanks

Hi

I use a Infinity usb phoenix, works gr8 for me. Files are easy to get and so should be easy. You will need to have a true serial port on your pc of possible otherwise you may have problems but they can be overcome.

You may need an unlooper as well if you card is locked.

i would only reccomend a infinity usb pheonix programmer. thars my personal pref
