Default Eurovox 7000HD

Hello All

I'm new to this forum and I'm jiust wondering If I can view skysports and ESPN with the eurovox 7000 hd box. All I have now is a full HD tv with a freeview installed in it. So, I would like to know if i can view Skysports with it (not necessarily on HD).

Please advise if it's a good buy

Ok, thanks for the reply...

But you're talking to a dumb person here...What is a SD?

So, I can watch Skysports (on SD I mean) with the eurovox 7000? Can you please also tell me if I there is any other HD channels that can be viewed?

Your reply is much appreciated. Thanks in advance

SD = Standard Definition
HD = High Definition

Cable only offer the following channels in HD at the moment although they are promising more soon,

BBC HD
Channel 4 HD
FX HD
MTV HD
ESPN HD
National Geographic HD
Living HD is coming soon

The box however does upscale, so you will probably notice a better picture quality even with the SD channels.

Thanks for the instant reply Footieman...

I don't mind watching Sky sports in SD as long as I receive the channel.

So I take it as I would receive all the channels possible, but only the above mentioned channel in HD, am I right?

Thanks again

I have also seen a lot of posts about flashed and un-flased? What is this all about?

flashed is when the box is updated to the latest fix and unflashed when its sold legally

Bear in mind you only get 6 HD channels with the EX7000HD

Did you mean Unflashed is sold illegally?

Because both seems good...both flashed and unflashed
