I have tried to mod my scientific atlanta modem and bought the the cable from tailormadecircuits.

I'v set my ip address as 192.168.100.10 and my gateway to .168.100.1 and then started the hyperterminal with the settings provided with the ambit250 pack.

However when i start the modem without the cable feed in i have the ethernet wire connected.the hyperterminal dont show nothing theres nothing on the screen its blank i have tried all sorts but nothings working.

any help will be appreciated
