Hi Guys,

I’m really hoping someone can help here please. I have my Eurovox 7000 connected to my Onkyo amp via optical, and by HDMI to the TV.

The problem is that I only ever get Dolby Pro logic II sound and not Dolby Digital. This is across even BBCHD or Sky Movies. The sound on the Eurovox is set to “Dolby on” rather than “PCM downmix”, or “off” – is that correct?

When swapping the leads round and using my HD DVD player instead on the same connections, I then do get Dolby Digital/DTS sound. So I’m assuming the amp settings are therefore correct.

Can anyone please help?
