How does the hobbyist make pcb's these days? In the days when I was into such things you had to buy copper plated boards and used a kind of letraset which you scribbled on then put it in an acid bath. This method was pretty cosltly and fairly ineffective. I have decided to get back into electronics and will be looking to make my own boards so how are they made on the cheep these days?

Cheers nathan123, I forgot about those, found them terribly time consuming and never really got on with them. I found this tutorial which looks very appealing, only problem is I only have an inkjet printer. I was just wondering if anyone could clarify that I can print the image on plain paper then photocopy on to the press n peel?
