Or is that one of these new fangled hard wired card share boxes??

Be aware the share servers have a very nasty habit of disappearing for no good reason leaving folk stuck with fta reception.

Yes - or any other fta box. If you can scavenge an old sky box from someone plug that in

BTW - If you want a decent epg then you are limited to a Freesat box or a Sky digibox - almost anything else only has now & next.

Are you sure they are Sky compatible - all the info I can find is out of date and only applies to European satellite services.

These hard wired card share boxes require a broadband connection. Without one you are stuffed.

Go and find an old Sky box and enjoy the free channels

I've not heard of Quantum. But there are only 2 possibilities.

A . It's a reciever that allows you to input keys, in which case there aren't and it's highly unlikely there ever will be any keys for Sky.

B . It's a Card Sharing reciever in which case you will need broadband. Only very general C/s discussion is allowed on the forum.

You also need to check if the Quantum box would give you Sky - Im not so sure it would - I cant find any info one way or the other.

Ive been in the sat hobby for over 10 years and barely heard of this model which makes me suspect its not working with Sky UK. If it gives free Sky it would be common knowledge.
