I don't think you need a card with Dreamboxes, just flash an image onto it and adjust your satellite dish depending on what channels you want to watch.

Blakey - even the famed dreambox doesnt give you many channels magically for free. Most of the satellite encryptions are secure these days so access to a subscription is required.

This is achieved either by your own card or via a card share.

Yes it will work via broadband connecton at both ends. Dont even think about buyng into a commercial card share site - the shares are often poor quality and you have no idea who is running them.

Ok, well I just thought the Dreambox-S would be the same as the Dreambox-C. I am a cable guy myself so I am sorry if I mislead you lambo.

There are no free servers, or at least no ones that would last very long.. No point in setting up a free server theres no finanicial gain from it. Most people who are into cs don't chat about it and some who pay for the service keep it quiet because they don't want it swamped with other people. More people sharing a card to worse the picture quality ends up. Thats why thered not a whole lot of chat about cs.

The best way to do it is for a bunch of friends to all buy one subscription and share all the cards out between you.

Or stick a few hundred pounds each into a common fund and buy the cards.

The best cards (eg Sky Italia full pack) are horrendously expensive if bought in the uk - nearly a thousand quid a year from some dealers!
