when i try toms jtag utility i get this error when i click detect.

attached a screen dump off error.

I tryed the jtag both ways around. and have the para port set to ECP + EPD in bios

cant remember where exactly it is but have you set program to blackcat?

think it might be in main

click on the jtag tab and then select blackcat LPT cable and then click open

then once its opened it, click on the console tab and do the following....

turn verification off in menu/options

then type in the console ......

ldram flash (browse to and select the file i sent you lastnight)

program flash

it should then start writing it providing it detected the flash.

if it says unknown flash, i think we then use swartz catz (or whatever it is) for this flash

alrite mate, still getting the same error and cant get to type in the commands

i managed to get this

jtag> ldram flash
First Detect Device...
JTAG communication failure, check connection, JTAG interface, target power etc.

well its the connection between the comp and the modem. not software. if toms couldnt recognise the flash, i think it would come up with 'unknown flash' not what its saying.

your on lpt 1 yeah?
