I hope you havnt got too many mates like him, You only have to hold a few buttons in to reset, unless he had to reset the net id, have a look in downloads for cable for dummies or pace cable guide, samsung tuts are in there too.

I dont know how hard this is, but I do know if you've got the appropriate equipment its free. I wouldn't charge my mates for anything(unless it cost me something)

£20 to remove a pin! Yes absolute rip off. As red said all you have to do is hold in a few buttons on the box really is easy. In future before you think about paying for something like that check the forum

Oh I see its a mates mate. How about you give your receiver next time to your mate and then they shall pass it on to their mate and hopefully then you shall get it free

You got ripped off big time mate, you can reset the Net ID yourself by using a simple button combination and a Net ID Funcard!

We all know he got ripped off. We dont need 5 people to tell him If that was me and you posted I got ripped of by many people, I would be like "I need some time alone with my money" Nah just kidding, but do we really need 5 people to tell him? Yes I was the 2nd culprit
