Default Please Help Eurovox EX1000 poor signal !!

Hi I have a eurovox Ex1000 , when its on in my living it works fine but i am planning to buy the ex7000 HD so i put the Ex1000 upstairs but the signal goes between 0 -20 % and no picture at all.
do i need to buy a signal booster or is the eurovox faulty ?

if it works fine downstairs then your box is fine, it is a signal booster you would need I would think!

i doubt the box is faulty, are you using an extra spliters?

yes I do have a 3 way splitter fitted
also when I fit my other ex1000 in the bedroom it works fine !

so both ex1000s work downstairs but only 1 of the 2 ex1000s works upstairs?

sounds like the signal could be REALLY border line...

argos don't sell catv amplifiers i don't think...

have a look on ebay... there's two main ones that sell on there, a silver one and a yellow one...

I don't know which one is better as I haven't used either...

The silver ones are not that good, they have the european style 2 pin plug, the yellow ones are more expensive though.
