Default Eurovox EX7000 HD PVR Box advice pls

i;m getting a new Eurovox EX7000 HD PVR Box what i want to know is when i put the fireware on uesing a mem stuck i no i need to turn box of then on again do i need to connect it to the tv first so i can see the fireware has gone into the box or does it just load into the box automaticly or what ? any advice would be great thanks

leave box on standby, plug in usb stick (use a good quality stick) to avoid errors. Turn on eurovox and it should say LED display that it is updating firmware, once it is complete it will tell you so. you could connect it to the TV anyway

You don't leave the box on standby, you need to use the switch at the rear of the box. This could be why your update failed, try using the switch, then plug in USB, and then power up the box from rear switch. You should see it go from 1% up to 100%.
